Growing up in Tremblant, Quebec in a square log home my parents built the year I was born to a carpenter dad and my mom with a successful wood craft business, it was only a natural that we learnt to wood work. From an early age I remember getting my own wood working tool box, with real wood tools (no plastic tools back then!) just smaller sized. As we grew up and when your parents build your own home, there is always finishing and building to be done. Our workshop was just off our living room and spent many hours using the bandsaw, everything from cutting out decorations to cutting a frozen pizza in half when we were teenagers.
Many years later at the age of 39 I got a Bandsaw for my birthday, I have started cutting out decorations again and the love was still there. There is something about the smell of sawdust & being in the workshop.
In 2008 we started building our Timberframe home just west of Edmonton, Alberta. We were involved in every step of the process being the General Contractors, and looking at the amount of scarp wood left over from building, we started a pile. Everything from pine 2x4’s, DougFir Timbers & moldings, cedar siding to old wood fencing we took down on the property. The pile grew to a mountain and over the years turned into a beautiful blend of grey weathered wood, now being used in my TLove workshop.
Handmade in Parkland Country, Alberta, each piece is unique and made to order from a variety of reclaimed wood and corrugated sheet metal. Some of our decorations are finished with a sweet TimberlineLove suede tag or have our logo burned onto our wood. The wood is left raw, so over time it will darken with the natural light.

I always have a project on the go, either restoring an old Marmot Basin chairlift, an old canoe or building a garage sink with old Cast Iron basin.
Growing up in a ski town, I have always loved all aspects of ski, from vintage posters to wood skiers.
